Your mat is made especially for you. Because I work with a small local printing partner and keep production intentionally small, please allow up to 3 weeks for printing and delivery. A little extra time goes into each mat, and I think it makes it worth the wait.

About the Leatherette

These are thin-profile leatherette mats, not thick neoprene mats. The leatherette has a soft, flexible feel and a subtle texture, creating a beautiful surface for the artwork without the bulk of a traditional cushioned mat. If you are accustomed to a thick neoprene Mahjong mat, please note that this is a distinctly different style of playing surface. The slim profile is part of the design and allows the artwork to take center stage.

Professionally Printed & Individually Finished

Every mat begins with my original artwork and is professionally printed locally and hand-cut individually. The hand-cut finish is part of what makes each House of Hearts mat a small-batch, artisan-made piece rather than a mass-produced product.

Shipping & Storage

Your mat will be carefully rolled and shipped in a protective tube, with the printed side facing outward. I recommend keeping the tube for storage.

When your mat arrives, simply unroll it and allow it to rest flat before playing. Because it has been rolled for shipping, you may notice a few gentle curves at first. This is completely normal. The leatherette will naturally relax and flatten with time.

When not in use, store your mat either rolled in its tube or flat.

Care

Your mat is waterproof, durable, and easy to care for. Simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh cleaners, abrasive materials, or excessive scrubbing.

A Note About Color

The images shown on the website are digital renderings created from my original artwork. Because every screen, material, and printing process is a little different, the colors of your finished mat may vary slightly from what you see on your screen.

These subtle variations are part of the nature of translating an original painting onto a new surface.

Returns

Because each mat is made to order specifically for you, all sales are final once your order has shipped. I’m unable to accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations unless your mat arrives damaged or defective. Please take a moment to review the size, design, material, and product details before placing your order, especially the thin leatherette profile if you are accustomed to traditional neoprene Mahjong mats.
