House of Hearts, 2017
WELCOME
Welcome to House of Hearts Studio.
I'm Jenni Horne—artist, art professor, lifelong sketchbook keeper, and caretaker of a historic Victorian cottage in Newnan, Georgia. Having spent my entire life in the South, I've always been drawn to places, objects, and stories that carry a sense of history, beauty, and heart.
The story of House of Hearts began in 2017 when I purchased the 1860 Victorian cottage that would eventually inspire its name. At the time, my husband and I were navigating a difficult season and living separately. The house, with its charming porch railings adorned with heart-shaped cutouts, immediately captured my imagination. But over time, those hearts came to represent something far more meaningful.
This became the home where our family found its way back together.
What began as an old house became a place of healing, creativity, gathering, and belonging. Within these walls, our family was restored, our children grew into adulthood, and new chapters began. As life shifted and our home became quieter, I transformed the formal living room into a studio filled with paint, sketchbooks, and possibility.
Today, House of Hearts Studio is an extension of that spirit—a place where art, story, beauty, and connection are shared with others.
Here you'll find original artwork, fine art prints, artisan scarves, sketchbooks, Mahjong mats, and thoughtfully curated finds for home, heart, and everyday living. Every piece is chosen, collected, or created with care and a belief that the things we surround ourselves with can tell stories, spark joy, and make a house feel more like home.
Whether you're here for a painting, a treasured find, or a sketchbook to begin your own creative journey, I'm so glad you've stopped by.
Pull up a chair, stay awhile, and make yourself at home.

The House is beautiful in the snow This was in 2018 before I found the original shutters in the attic.

My favorite season is in the fall when the front trees
turn red-orange.

The home is on the historic registry.
Even at night she has a special sparkle. Christmas is her favorite I think.
